Display Zooms Extents

I've setup a viewport and given it a scale and annonation scale. The display is not locked at this point. When I change from paper to model space, the display automatically zooms extents. Also when trying to rotate the dwg in the viewport, I'm using MVSETUP and when I pick a base point, angle, and hit enter, it quickly roates then goes back to original angle. Again, the display is not locked. Is there a system variable turned on that I need to turn off? What would be causing this problem? This dwg has been to another office and then back to me.

Probably UCSFOLLOW. Set it to 0.

From the help:

0 UCS does not affect the view

1 Any UCS change causes a change to the plan view of the new UCS in the current viewport

That was the first thing I checked and it is set to "0".

Are you double-clicked "inside" the viewport when you type ucsfollow? If you're in paperspace and not in the viewport itself, it will not work. These are two separate settings - one for paperspace, one for viewport.

I concur. In fact I was about to point out that each VP will have it's own UCSfollow setting but Mitch beat me to it.

Good luck.
