disapearing contours

I am a land surveyor using AutoCAD Civil 3D Land Desktop Companion 2009. When I make a contour map for a client using Civil 3D 2012, they are not able to see the contours.

What should I or they do for them to be see and use the contours?

Try exporting it to an older version of autocad.

Sounds like they are missing the Object enablers.

IWhat are they using, version and product?

In the surface's properties, you should choose the proper style.

Going from 2009 version to 2012 is likey to have some issues. Try exporting the contours/surface to LandXML and have them import them.
