Difficulties with structure hatches

I want to embed two layers into the plan view of my structure. One called "SD" and the other called "Storm". The purpose being to have one show up dark and the other light. For pipes I accomplish this by giving the inner and outer walls the appropriate layers. However, structures don't have inner and outer walls. I am trying to use a hatch instead. In the style I have the "plan structure" on the SD layer and the "plan structure hatch" on the storm layer. The structure itself is on another layer called "Pipe". I want to freeze the storm layer and make the structure look like the above picture. Initially it does, but as soon as I regen the hatch comes back like the lower picture. This is rather complicated. If anyone can suggest an easier way, I'll be all for it.

looks like a hatch scale problem. What is the structure hatch scale set
too? Try a higher number.

Setting found on the Display tab of the Structure style, under all the
components towards the bottom of the dialog.

Hi Anthony,
Sorry, I left out that I want the hatch to be solid when displayed. When I freeze the layer that the hatch is on in the style it still displays and says it is on the same layer as the structure.

could you attach a pared down drawing that just has a few pipes and
structures in it?

Attached is an example.
When you open it everything is thawed. Freeze the storm layer. The hatch will freeze. Regen the drawing, the hatch reappears on the pipe layer which is the same layer as the structure.

Wow, this is funky. if you freeze the layer the hatch comes back as a white
solid, but if you just turn off the layer, it works as expected (no hatch).

I think I'll log this one as a bug, just to make sure I'm not missing
something too.

Thanks Anthony,
I didn't think to turn the layer off. I think I can make it work like that.
Thanks again.
