DESCRIPTION KEY SETS

Hello,

I am new to the survey functionality in Civil 3D 2014 and learning how to apply description key sets to point import events.

I have a description key set that has a code of: GP* as geoprobe boring points.  However, I want to place GP-1 thru GP-6 on a different point and label style than GP-7 thru GP-17.  Is there a way to get the description key set code to look for a range of point descriptions such as GP-1 thru GP-6?

From the Help file:

[...] (brackets)

Matches any one of the characters enclosed, for example, [AB]C matches AC and BC.

[~...]

Matches any character not enclosed, for example, [~AB]C matches XC but not AC.

- (hyphen)

Inside brackets, specifies a range for a single character, for example [A-G]C matches AC, BC, through GC, but not HC.

So this should work:

GP-[1-6]

GP-[7-9]

GP-1[1-7]
