I have a good desc key file built, Its a little of a work in progress because we add points in as we need them. Especially if the surveyors find something new and make a new point #. The problem is that I dont know how to apply the newly updated desc key file to an older drawing. Sometimes its only a week old but has enough work done on it that I dont want to start over.
Anyone know how to apply a new template settings to an older drawing...particularly the Desc Keys?
Open both drawings in C3D. Make your "target" drawing current. Then set the Settings tab to Master View, and drag the Description Key set from the "other" drawing into your current drawing (you can just drop it into the drawing window). You'll probably want to tell it to "overwrite" any duplicates.
