Deleting feature lines in Civil3D 07

Why on earth does it take so ridiculously long to delete feature lines in 07? Civil 3D either takes forever to delete the feature lines, or it crashes the program altogether.

The instability of this program is nothing short of awe-inspiring.

Are those feature lines in a surface? Are those feature lines part of a grading object? Message was edited by: MAnderson

No, the end goal was to simply apply the feature lines to a surface (created from a small DEM), but they were/are not currently referenced or a part of any surface or grading object.

How big is the drawing file?

My gut instinct says your trouble is centered around the DEM file.

set the surface to display the TIN lines. Explode the DEM TIN, and then create a "new" surface from those 3D lines that you got from exploding the DEM.

Not only will your file size drop DRASTICALLY, but your stability will become better.
