degree of curvature

Has anyone figured out to get the degree of curvature (DOC) for a curve in an alignment to be reported for Civil 3D 2007 like was reported in the 2006 version?

Do you need it for highway or railroad curves?

You can add an expression to the curve label... see the attached gif file.

How does one go about getting degree of curvature (D) to display in a label for a PI in C3D 2006?

Ok, but how do I get the radius into this calculation?

Thank you,
Tom

One would assume it will get the radius from the
selected curve.

Radius was not a choice in the expression inset property list. Turns out that I was in the general label styles section, not the Alignment>label sytles>curve section. So, there are different choices available based on what area you are in.

How to set and label the “degree of curvature”?

As the radius of the circular alignment is calculated from the “degree of curvature” (attached) then I couldn’t figure out how to change the default value or to label it (degree of curvature)

Thank you

Best

Jamal
