defect in elevation surface analysis?

HI All,
I'm trying tocreate an elevation analysis for my surface but the analysis is limited to two ranges? I tried changing the number of ranges manually and via the spinner control to no avail. Can anyone else confirmt this? Are there any workarounds?

Thanks,
Josh

try changing the styles configuration. Usually changing to a different math
type will solve.

In the surface style, I tried changing the quantile / std. dev / equal interval but that doesn't fix it. Shouild I look somewhere else?

This issue also occurs with the contour, elevations, slopes, and slope arrow analysis types.. if that helps at all.

Thanks,
Josh

Typically that corrects it for me. Did you try adjusting the default number
of ranges? I have seen the problem, but not a way to conistantly reproduce
it. If the dwg is under 5mb I will take a look. nick.zeeben as listed
below.

Josh, this may be the same thing myself and Tom tried to nut out in http://discussion.autodesk.com/thread.jspa?threadID=479442 - needless to say, to no avail. Doesn't help, just means you aren't necessarily on your own.

Of course, you may've picked up a new strain of the bug. Let us know if yours appears different.

How about an Audit or Recover? Maybe WBLOCK the entire dwg. Maybe start a
new dwg and insert the offending one. It seems to be dwg related. Does it
do this with a different surface? Maybe create your surface again?

I've seen this too, just grasping at straws here. Good luck.

something simple that often gets me- if you choose for your table style just
the "Min Max" table, it will only show two ranges

I'm baaaack 🙂

good morning,
it DOES NOT appear to be drawing specific. I've recreated the same drawing using the acad.dwt instead of the civil dwts to no avail. I'll dig deeper and see what I can find...

Thanks and I'm off on vacation... for a few days anyway,
Josh
