Default point descriptions/elevations wont go away

I am using civil 3d 2012 and in only one drawing I have this problem:

I set default point elevation & default point description in the point creation tools dialog box. When I clear the default values and close then reopen the dialog box to create points, it goes back to those defaults. Even if I assign new default elev & desc, it will go back to those old ones. It only happens in one drawing. Any Ideas?

In Toolspace go to Settings TAB-->Points-->Commands-->Create Points. Right click and select "Edit command Settings"

You can change the defaults by digging around in here.
