Default Plot Stamp

Is there a way to turn plot stamps on by default?

That setting is in the Registry. We include it in a logon script to turn it
on whenever a users starts Windows. Unfortunately, there's nothing to
prevent them from turning it off during that session...

Here's an example - set PlotStamp dword = 1 to turn it on in the appropriate
profile:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R17.1\ACAD-6000:409\Profiles\<
Profile>>\Dialogs\Plot Stamp]
"PSPFilename"="C:\\Users\\schjr\\AppData\\Roaming\\Autodesk\\C3D
2008\\enu\\support\\Inches.pss"
"PlotStamp"=dword:00000000

Perhaps you REALLY want the plotstamp that's built into the plot, but
I've had better luck and results just using mtext and fields and the
plot options there. It's on the page, you can manipulate and move, and
it doesn't matter what machine you plot from, it just does it's thing.

Just my $.02.

Yeah - we've actually switched to fields for R2008 ourselves. Much more
flexible...
