Daylight/CCorridor Overlapping

Hi,

I created corridor using daylight bench (7:1_V:H  slope, width 3m & vertical height 10m_max). In some of curvy part, corridor overlaps. And, in section i get multiple sub-assembly lines.

Is there way to create continuous sub-assembly not overlapping eachother and actual section as it supposed to be ?

(Googling and other posts didn't help)

It appears that your alignment has bends in it, which means that you will have corridor sections that overlap.  About the only choice you have in this case would be to use grading objects instead of a corridor.

Yes, exactly. My alignment has bends in it.

I did try grading as well but the problem is I cannot grade to specific height and to the target surface at the same time. Is this possible ?

Thanyou for replying...

What you're dealing with has been dubbed the "Bow Tie Effect".

Delete the overlapping portion of corridor surface..
Than create polylines between deleted areas.
Than afterwards through contour option from new surface create a surface. Than paste in existing Surface. You are done.

I created daylight benches using this method.

Grading method will not work on benches.
