Data Transfer Issue with Survey Link DC 7.5.5

Our Engineering/Surveying Department has 2 work stations. Both work stations have identical hardware and operating systems.

Work Station #1 (WS1): had Civil 3d 2010 and was upgraded to Civil 3d 2012

Work Station #2 (WS2): has Civil 3d 2010.

Using Civil 3d's Survey Data Collection Link (Survey Link DC 7.5.5); we have been transferring survey data using a Trimble TSC1 survey controller v7.70 successfully into an ASCII or .gre format.

Once WS1 was upgraded to Civil 3d 2012 the data transfer process did not work successfully. The process still works on WS2 (civil3d 2010) successfully.

My process for WS1/WS2 is using these settings during transfer:

>Open Survey Link through create ground data (civil3d)>

>Click Transfer>Click Send/Receive> Opens transfer window

>Data Collector or total station used: GRE 3 or 4 Data Collector

>Output>Sequential

>File Name>test.gre

>Click Receive (after tsc1 controller tells me to hit receive)

Transfer says its been completed successfully but shows an empty .gre file.

Again, to reiterate, this process still works on the Civil3d 2010 workstation but not on the civil3d 2012 workstation. Please help me troubleshoot this issue so I can transfer data from the 2012 workstation.
