Data short cut batch routine

I have to update some DS connections in about 10 files; does anyone know of a way to batch them?

Joe,

You could use the external program Data Shortcuts Editor.

Just for us hard of thinking Joe. That's Start > Programs > Autodesk > AutoCAD Civil 3D 20xx > Data Shortcut Editor.

I made it evene more difficult for the hard of thinking by not stating 2008.

So in 2010 & up I can add my data shortcuts outside of acad?

Thanks, Joe

I think we used an xml editor back then. 😉

Google 'xml notepad'.

That should be available in 2009 but not 2008. Edit the XML as suggested. Make a backup first - of course.
