Cut and Fill

I'm doing cut and fill for alley sections and getting fill shown to top of paving sections. Is there a way to keep the table from calculating fill for portions that are pavement?

I may be wrong, but you may need a dummy profile for the concrete.

You create a datum surface, same way you did for the top, but use the datum link.

I have a datum surface that is the cut target. For the fill however its using the Top surface but that puts fill in areas that will be pavement. Thats what I want to eliminate from the fill area.

Then you need to make sure your material quantities are using the datum surface. Sounds like it isn't.

And did you read the name of the surfaces in the list? I see I indicated that the datum surface should be used and not top.

Use the ref X to delete the incorrect surface used and then use the blue plus to add the correct surface to the fill.
