Cut and fill areas from a tin volume surface?

Hi All,

Is it possible to extract cut and fill areas from a tin volume surface to assist in calulations for stripping and re-spread of topsoil? We're not sure whether we will continue down this road, but thought it worthwhile to ask the question anyway.

cheers, Peter.

HI Peter,

Create a surface style that shows only two ranges: elevations above and below 0. Run an elevation table on the volume surface to which you applied the style.

Thanks Tim,

Having had no training in Tables or table styles, I am pleased to report that I double clicked on some things and can see how this is done now.....just what I was after.

Your a star, many thanks!
Take the rest of the day off...

cheers, Peter
