Curved pressure pipe not responding to style correctly

My goal is to only show the centerline of pipe on the print but in the drawing itself show the centerline and outside of pipe with the outside of pipe set to a no plot layer. I have found that the straight pipe responds appropriately but the curve pipe always plots all three lines. I have attached an example of the PDF print and of a screen shot of the pipe. All the pipes are set on the same pipe style. Does anyone have any ideas on how to work around this problem?

Not an answer to your question but an observation in viewing the pdf.

It appears curves in the pipe may not necesarily be the cause.

There are what appear to be 3 tangential curves on the left side which display only the centerline as desired.

On the right side it appears,to be a spline or the likes without any tangent segments betwen curves.
The offsets in this portion do not appear to be parallel, or an even offset.

Not sure why / how this would affect the style display?

If you apply the same pipe style, on a network which has tangent segments long enough to keep the offesets even, does only the centerline display as desired for entire length?
