CUI Land invalid

Single Seat User LDT 2006 Civil3d Companion, Winxp Pro 1.25gb ram 7.76gb
hard disk available. I have recently started using the Civil3d portion of
the program. Starting a new dwg in Civil3d, I either import data from Land
desktop or import Land Xml data. Aftre working in Civil3d I have been saving
the result dwg in 2004 format to a folder of my creation on C drive.I have
done this experimenting with at least 10 drawings with data derived from my
existing Land Projects 2006 and some outside LandXml files. Today when I
started-up LDT to my suprise there were no workspaces or menues available. I
executed to menuload command and sucessfully loaded the following .cui :
acad sample workspaces, civil, dbcon, acad, and Trimble. When I try to load
the Land .cui I get an error message "this file is invalid". I have varified
the support path of all .cui in both LDT and Civil3d which all seem to be in
order. I have executed the "Reinstall or Repair Autodesk Landesktop 2006"
option in Windows Add Or Remove Programs to no avail. Any ideas?

A Repair/Reinstall will fix this. If all else fails, copy the untouched
version of this file from the \UserDataCache directory under your LDT
directory.
