Crosshairs disappearing in 2012

On occasion when on a layout tab and making a few changes in model space and I preview while model space is still active, crosshairs disappear when I exit preview. So I then save, close and reopen, it is then back to normal. Not a huge deal but is kind of irritating. Anyone else come across this.

This usually happens to me after a save/autosave. Move the cursor along the ribbon or menu area until you above the Visual Style Controls on the drawing canvas (normally in the upper left corner, may need to zoom out to see them) then move the mouse down over the style and the croshairs should magically reappear.

I have also noticed that this crosshair bug is still present in 2013

Thanks,
