Crosshair Problem?

I have been using Civil 3D 2011 for several months without any problems until yesterday. I was working on a drawing I've been in and out of for a couple of weeks and all of a sudden my crosshair started jumping around the screen like the snap mode hade been turned on. I checked to make sure snap was off and that no running osnaps were active.

Also two small rectangles have now appeared above and to the right of my crosshair, see attachment.. I have opened other drawings and in some the crosshair moves smoothly and in others it jumps as described above.

The bmp shows you have SELECTION CYCLING turned on. The icon on the that status bar (SC if text/icon like your image if not)  You want to turn it off or set to 0 at command line. SELECTIONCYCLING= 0

Thanks Murph!!!!

Setting selectioncycling to 0 fixed the problem.
