Cross Section View

Hi,

I have 2 questions related to the Cross Sections View and I would like to know how to do it:

- Can be inserted in the XS View the fences for example? I did an alignment for this fence parallel to the road but I don’t know how to show it in XS

- I saw on youtube that the extension lines from the Band Design Levels to the Red Line can be shown

Attached is the cross section in this stage with highlighted comments

Thanks in advance

Lucian

For question 1,

Create a profile from the existing surface along your alignement you have for the fence.

Create a marker style for your fence object.

Select a Section View, right click and select Section View Group Properties...

On the Section Views tab, click the Elipsis button under Profile Grade.

Choose the alignment for your fence from the alignment drop down and click the Add button.

Change the marker style to your newly created Fence marker style, then click Ok.

Click OK.

For question 2,

Look at creating section label style for grade brakes which is made up of one component, being a line.

The major properties of the still are -

Starting point anchor component - <Feature>

Starting point anchor point - Anchor Grade Break

Use End Point Anchor - True

End Point Anchor Component - <Feature>

End Point Anchor Point - Anchor Grade Break Extension

Then attach this label style to your red section with the anchor point being the Graph View Bottom.

Thanks Andrew.

It was a really great answer. It worked perfect.

As one more question, do you know if I can replace my labels from Corridor Code set style - Point Label Style, as shown in the previous sketch as Centreline, Channel labels etc to be included in the band set?
