Creating TIN surface from Terramodel

Hi all,

Im new to Civil 3D and civil designing in general (Mechanical/Piping)

I have been asked to create a TIN surface from a Terramodel exported dwg file

The Engineer would like to use this in Navisworks as a solid (face?) surface

How do I do this? Any help will be greatly appreciated

Sorry for the noob post

Thanks,

Jarrod

What have you been given in the Terramodel dwg - you will most likely have the 3D faces already which I suspect could be used in Navisworks with no further manipulation (not entirely sure as I don't use Navisworks)

When exporting the DWG file in Terramodel the 3D faces must be active and the export 3d checkbox must be on otherwise there will be no heights. All the surface data will be in one layer, that's how Terramodel works.
