Create View Frames question

is possible to create view frames wo an alignment? my drawing is not linear, in fact, its a survey of large lake with bathy survey data, and topo data along the shoreline.  is there a function to tell c3d to divide my model into as many sheets required to cover the surface based on the template/layout properties?

No, but you could create an alignment to accomplish the task of creating the view frames & sheets and once the sheets have been created just turn off the alignment. If it's more of a uniform grid layout of sheets then some old school Viewport creation may be the way to go.

You can Manually create views in the plan by typing "View".

Create all your views that you need.

Then in sheet set open the sheet you want the view to go in.

Go to the "Model Views" TAB in sheet set and select the drawing you created the views in.

Drag and drop the view into the sheet.
