Crash while grading

my Civil 3D has crashed 5 times this morning while I was doing basic grading functions. Now, when I try to open a Civil 3D session it's telling me a number of files are missing so basically I'm running basic AutoCAD 2007.

You may need to try a repair or reinstall and ensure you have SP-1A
installed.

I'm installing that now. When I'm opened C3D i'm being told a number of files can't be found.

Nope. The update didn't work! Grrrr. this program is unstable! Message was edited by: freddy j

You could try repairing your installation thru add/remove programs, then
repair registry.

I have heard there are stability issues with grading? Has that been changed with the service pack?

Hasn't changed for me! I've installed both service packs and the thing still crashes almost once an hour.

Very finicky. After reading through the fixes coming in SP2 and knowing how many ways you can make AutoCAD Civil 3D 2007 crash using the grading tools I doubt this is going to change anytime soon. Save your money and time and stick with what you have.
