I can't believe Autodesk is proud of this decision. I surely hope I eat
my words and the new and improved web-based forum is as user friendly as
NNTP. If it is anything remotely close to what it is now, someone needs
fired from autodesk.
I for one hate opening web browsers at work. I foresee less posts, and
of course less answers, because autodesk takes forever and a day to ever
get an answer. While us customers are more than willing to share the
knowledge we gained on the products almost in real time with NNTP. Even
explaining our work-arounds that work better than the intent of the
product on certain tasks.
