Corridor and Essembly Daylight

Hello,

Please help: I am creating a corridor with a simple assembly. On my assembly, I have basic lane and daylight Multiple surface. My target is existing ground. I don't know how i can explain, but please see the attached bitmap file.

Thank you very much for your time!

Dennis

I'm not too familiar with the DaylightMultipleSurface but it's capable of targeting 3 surfaces so it's possible you've set the target EG for all three target options.

Try using DaylightGeneral if your looking to keep it simple as this daylight sub only targets one surface.

Set your Intercept Number to 1.

I didn't see that parameter in the DaylightMultipleSurface sub?

You're right... I thought he was using MultiIntercept there for a minute.

Try using MultiIntercept.

There's one thing I noticed in your picture:  you point to what is basically the SECOND intersection of the slope and EG and say that you want to "connect here at the first intersection".  So I'm a little confused.

That is the first intercept right of baseline control cross section station 0 where they want to stop.

MultiIntercept would be a good useful implementation with this undulating EG slope.

I have set Intercept Number to 1, but the cut is still cut beyond the first intercept. I could not attach the file because it is too large. I can email to your email address if you wanted to help me!

Is there any other daylight i can use for my simple cut and fill: Cut 1.5:1, Fill 2:1 to existing ground surface?

thanks,

Dennis

That Corridor was corrupt. I deleted it and created another one with your same assembly in this region, and it works:

I didn't save it, but I did nothing more than delete that Corridor after seeing the corrupted behavior, and create a new Corridor using your Assembly.
