I have received the LDD directory for a project that was originally modeled
in metric units. Our project is being provided this data for our base, but
we are designing our project in english units.
Rather than scale and recreate the dtm models, is there a way to perform
this conversion within the Civil Design application?
You could "Export LandXML" the metric project data in either Land Desktop
or Civil 3D (after "Import Data Land Desktop" command). You would then
"Import LandXML" the newly created data into an imperial drawing and LandXML
would automatically convert the data.
