Control/click to select collinear objects overlying one another?

We have legacy drawings with several lines and polylines overlying one another, some of which are in the same layers. We used to be able to cycle through and select one of these using the control/click (hold down control and keep clicking the overlying entities) method. In C3D 2014 this expedient doesn't seem to work; nothing happens when we position the cursor over the target set and use control/click. Is there a replacement for this procedure of cycling through overlying entities? Many thanks!

The SELECTION CYCLING feature does this. There should be an icon for it on the lower left of screen.

Thank you, Jay B.  That worked.
