after reading post it looks like there is an issue with the background mask and contour labels. from what I've been reading, to print so the labels don't have lines through them it is required to have merge control set to overwrite. is this still the case or can I accomplish this another way? Civil 3D, 2009 & 2011 Win 7 Enterprise 64bit 8 GB
