Complex intersection corridor modelling

Hello guys,

I have a complex intersection of three corridors with:

  - oblique angles

  - different sections assemblies (one way and two ways - full section)

How whould be the best approach to solve it?

I am sending attached a picture of this problem.

Thank you a lot,

I would model the 2-way parts up the where they start to diverge. Then add 3 new baselines, one for each lane in the middle. For the very inside part, I would just let the TIN surface triangulate itself. No real need to model the corridor to the nth degree here.

A few other thoughts.

Try to get all three alignments flowing in the same direction around the triangular area, so that you can use one assembly to model all three legs.  As Matt said you don't have to model the central area, but if you want to you could add some featurelines to create the inside curb and boulevards.

You can use the intersection feature in this situation. I have figured out a way to do this. Can you post the cad drawing and I will create it for you.
