You should learn the longhand method of creating intersections within corridors. That would work for your scenario.

Hello Tim. Thank yo very much for the information.

I have one question, how can i draw the superelevetions of the SE and SW curb retorns in the profile, becouse this superelevetions are implicit in the method of creating the interganges.

And also how do you resolves the slope overlap betwen the SE and the Main road.

Again Thank you.

You can use the superelevation wizard to create the transitions throught the curb returns, but you wll need to make the alignment extend in both directions off the curb return itself. Model the super as part of the alignment properties and extend the corridor region so that it encompasses both ends of the superelevation. You will need to adjust the regions on the Main and Side roads to accomodate for this.
If you create a region on Main, in which there is no right side of the assembly, and correctly target the paved subassembly that is part of the SE alignment to the centerlines of Main and Side, and their corresponding design profiles, there will be no 'overlap.'

My process is similar to what Tim uses, but it may be a little closer to what you're trying to do.  If you search the Autodesk University recorded classes for CI2160 you might find it helpful.

Hello Steve;

I have seen your video, very interesting. But i can get the final idea becouse you are solving a big interchange.

I made and example about a exit lane of a road and i have this problems:

  • How can design the corridor of the gore area.
  • How i solve the overlap problem of the slops between the two roads.

Thank you for your time.

Víctor
