Clean install

After using Autodesk recommendations for a clean install, remove programs, remove files and remove registry edits I can not delete the file

C:\Program FIles\Common FIles\Autodesk Shared\acsigncore16.dll

Can someone explain how this file is still in use if all Autodesk files and references were removed?

I'm having a similar problem (can't delete shared folder because file is in use) and am working with support. I'll post a solution if I find one.

Wow. I installed the Cleanup utility and removed the Autodesk entries that were stuck. Rebooted and Still no luck with the delete. I then renamed the folder (which I found real odd that I could given it's contents were in use), rebooted and was able to delete the file. Now I can run setup without it telling me the software I removed is installed. 😮

Thanks Allen.

Thank You...

Worked for me too... rename the folder and reboot... then it allowed me to delete the folder.
