Civil 3D xrefs to an AutoCAD file

I have a Civil 3D drawing which has Civil 3D xrefs (a separate drawing with the alignments, profiles, etc and shortcuts) from which I want to create an "AutoCAD only" drawing.  I have tried eTransmit, Binding the xrefs (both using bind and insert) and once done,  the vertical curves in the profile disappear.  Still have the tangents and labels, but the vertical curves in the proposed profile are gone.  Any help?  Or is there a better way to get all my xrefs bound into one "plain AutoCAD" drawing and maintaining all the visual data (not really worried about the C3D "intelligence" - just as long as all the line work is there..)

Thanks

Use the EXPORTTOAUTOCAD command. You can find under the File / Export pull down menu.

I rarely have time to post. If what I post helps please use Accept as Solution / Like when appropriate.

You may have to exporttoautocad the x-refs first.  Then in the hosting drawing, make sure the x-refs are pointing to the exported versions.  Then export that drawing.
