Civil 3D Workspace Customisation

I am trying to include the Tools menu to my workspace. Apparently everything seems to go well except when I conclude with done, apply & ok nothing happens. The tools menu appears on the Workspace Contents List but does not appear as a menu.

Any suggestions?

How many menu items do you have? I once noticed there is a limit of 24 menu items, you can add more in the CUI settings, they will however simply not appear on the menu. You may find if you move the tools menu item higher up the list, another one will drop off.

There is a limit of 24, but that's only a limit of what is saved between
sessions. You can make as many as you want display at any given time.
