Civil 3D Won't Uninstall

I need to uninstall Civil 3D 2009 from a computer, but when I try, I receive a fatal error during the process and it rolls back the installation. Is there another method for uninstalling the software that won't leave remnants of it scattered all over my computer?

If this is the only Autodesk product on the machine search the knowledgebase
for a complete uninstall or a clean install. One of them will show you how
to get it all off.

I had the same problem on one machine. It turned out to be a corrupted .NET
Framework install. Uninstalling all .NET Framework items in Add/Remove
Programs, then installing the Microsft .NET Framwork 3.5 sp1 fixed the C3D
uninstall problem for me.

Brian,

The problem with this procedure is that the uninstall process will not complete. I can go and delete all of the files in the subdirectories listed, but does that get everything if the uninstall process is never completed?

Thanks Jeff! I'll try that.

If you need more, also note that MS has a utility to clean up the add/remove
programs dialog of broken program links. Run this after you do the clean
install procedure.
