Civil 3D Land Desktop Companion 2008 Installation Problems
I installed Civil 3D 2008 on my machine and activated it.
I then put in the disk for Civil 3D Land Desktop Companion 2008 to install, but I just get an error message saying "Setup Initialization Failed".
I dunno exactly why this has happened. But what will sometimes fix installation related issues is to do the following:
Create a New folder anywhere on your workstation (desktop is fine)
Copy all the files from the Disk into the new folder
Eject the disk
Run the setup from the version you copied to the new folder.

I would have ended up re-formatting my computer and re-loading everything trying to get this to work.
