Does anyone know how to put a (Return) or Break to another text line in a label? Usually it is one big long label on one line....
Thanks!
I'm kinda confused as to the question.
Can't you just use the Enter key to put in a return?

Do you mean similar to the attached caption going from the top label example to the bottom?
If yes, the only way I've been able to accomplish this is to expllode the label unfortunately.
Just a thought...but it looks like your label is being pulled into a Dragged state. If that is the case, your label may be reverting into a stacked orienation and overriding your layout settings. Try going into the label style's Dragged State and setting this to "As Composed".
In addition to this, on the Layout tab of your label style, you must edit component contents to include the carriage return that you are wanting. If it looks correct in the preview window, it should look good in the drawing.
Hope this helps.
Yes you are correct, it's in a dragged state and our labeling along the pipe in the as composed state is all one line as that's the look were after.
I am actually able to put a return in the label, just tried again but in our label we're pulling the "material" values (in vold) from the parts list which messes it up for stacked text.
We'd either have to display the following using the "Edit Label Text" command
91 LF
12" RCP CL V @ 3.29%
or
91 LF 12" RCP CL V
@ 3.29%
To achieve 2 lines stacked where we'd prefer so explode is only solution in this instance.
91 LF 12" RCP
CL V @ 3.29%
Kind of a sometimes it will work well and other times not thing.
Thanks for clarifying , you make a very good point.

After expanding the label composer dialog very wide you can see any returns in label much easier.
