Civil 3D and Trimble Link

Does anyone know if there is additional softawre besides the Trimble Link for Civil 3D needed to convert Trimble Job Files recieved from a surveyor to FBK files ?

 

I was using http://beingcivil.typepad.com/my_weblog/2012/02/import-job-file-into-autocad-civil-3d-.html for reference but keep getting an error trying to access the data base which makes me think I am missing some software.

Survey Link comes with the software, and it can do pretty much the same thing. Go to the home take and click the arrow under the create ground tab

I would strongly recommend starting to use ascii format instead, it's simpler, and has improved linework commands that are not available using the fbk format.
