Civil 3D and Structural detailing

Hello,

My question is, can a structural detailing menu be added to civil 3D? I need to do some reinforced concrete design but dont have any of the options. At the moment I have Civil 3D 2014

AutoCAD Structural Detailing is part of the Buidling Design Suite (in 2015). I think it is the same in 2014. Either way, that functionality is not part of Civil 3D.

Neil:

I doubt he is looking for reinforcing detailing.

If it is the reinforcing that is of interest, then Revit Structure is worth a look.

I know you are on the other side of the Pond, perhaps you have different nomenclature.

My understanding is that design is what gets done an A4 calculation sheets (or the modern spreadsheet equivalent) that spits out member sizes, reinforcement cover and reinforcement sizes etc. and detailing is the translation of this into a drawing format for pricing/construction etc....;)

None of this sort of stuff is my particular bag anyway.....
