Civil 3D 2015 non-responsive

I'm having some issues with C3D 2015.  Sometimes, after I select an object, I can not grip edit it.  Sometimes the grip shows selected, other times not.  Also when I hit escape, it will not cancel and de-select the objects

Anyone else have this issue? Anyone have any ideas for a solution?

Do the objects happen to be viewports?

Sounds like you might need to update your video card driver, or video card.

Jay,

Yes, but it also happens with attributed blocks.

This related thread might help but there's no known solution I'm aware of.

I submitted a Support Request for this issue in 2014 and I'm not seeing anything in the newly released 2014 SP2 Readme file indicating it's been fixed.

Thanks Jay

I That other thread is exactly the same problem.  I deleted the north arrow and haven't had the problem since.
