Civil 3D 2012 hangs on Surface Edit selection in Prospector

When I click on Edits under the Surface Definition in Prospector, the program will hang, and I will have to shut it down through Windows Task Manager. This is when there are Edits to the surface (Edge Swaps mostly).

Try hitting the CTRL key when this occurs. Many of us have found C3D2012 to appear to lockup when selecting different items in the Prospector but using the CTRL key will bring it back to life.
