CIVIL 3D 2006 SERVICE PACK HELP

I NEED HELP!! I INSTALLED Autodesk Civil 3D 2006 Service Pack 1 AND Autodesk Civil 3D Land Desktop Companion Service Pack 1 AND NOW I GET ERRORS STARTING CIVIL 3D 2006.

THE ERROR IS invalid DBX file.

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\AecArchDACHBase47.dbx is an
invalid DBX file.

THIS HAS HAPPENED TWICE WHAT AM I DOING WRONG? I HAVE CIVIL 3D 2006 AND LAND DESK 2006 COMPANION.

THE LAST TIME I HAD TO REINSTALL BOTH PROGRAMS. THIS IS DRIVING ME NUTS. I AM CRASHING OUT AND IT TELLS ME THERE ARE UPDATES, BUT WHEN I UPDATE IT , IT TOTAL TRASHED CIVIL 3D DATA.

For the record, you should be installing Service Pack 2 with Civil 3D and
Service Pack 1 with Civil 3D Land Desktop Companion.

Can't help you much, but please, for the love of all things holy, turn off
CAPS LOCK. It's very hard to read, and using all caps will actually reduce
the number of people that respond to you.

Please see if the following C3D KB article is useful:

http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/item?siteID=123112&id=6005471&linkID=3549480

There are other KB articles available if you have other Autodesk
products installed side-by-side with C3D.
