Channel lines in profile view and bands

HI,

I have run a road corridor using assemblies. Now looking to show the channel lines and there correponding elevation Box band in the profile view. Is there any way to show the channel lines directly in to profile view without creating separate alignment them?

Absolutely there is!

1. If your channel is a consistant slope and/or depth you can build that into your assembly using generic links.

2. If your channel offset varies, you can use a polyline as a target

3. If your depth varies, you can create a channel profile in the same profile view as your roadway and use for a target.

There are many posts in this group that reference each of these methods. The tutorials on using generic links are helpful as well.

Use the Feature Lines from Corridor command to extract dynamic feature lines from the corridor.

Then use the Profile View > Project Objects to Profile View command to project the feature line to a profile view.  The projected profile will update when the corridor feature line updates.
