Changing Contour style for different surfaces?

I'd like to differentiate between proposed contours and existing contours on my plan views.  Is there a way to show contours at a different thickness and/or color on one surface compared to another surface when both surfaces are displayed at the same time?

Thanks.

Yes copy a surface style snd change display colours

Yes,

Create your new style and apply it to the surface.
