Cannot see tooltips - User Specific

One user in the office cannot see his tooltips. If we open the drawing on another computer we can see the tips, but on this one machine we cannot. I have checked all of the usual places for tooltip settings, but all of the places I know of are drawing specific, where else can I look?

I know it stinks, but can you try a repair installation? Just grasping at
straws.

Well they work now, but this is what we did, we checked the "Display AutoSnap aperture box" in the drafting tab of the options. Then we unchecked it and now it works. Very strange........

i've also encountered this problem.. and solved it..

what i did was copied the C3D cui file of another computer that works fine and then replace the cui file of the other that doesn't show the toolspace....

then i reload the cui file... after that the toolspace appeared again.

I think I found the four most common reasons tooltips die...

i posted the list at www.civil3d.com. some of them are drawing specific, some of them are user/profile specific.

if you lost your tooltips- try this:

Your link no longer works and I started having the "No Tool Tip" issue can you redirect the link please?  Also I saw some notes regarding running Raster Design, which we are if it makes a difference.

More than likely you have Autodesk Raster Design installed.

Use the CuiUnload command and unload Raster Design.
