Can you get rid of Dropgeom?

Ok, so I did read several posts about this already, but they were for earlier versions of AutoCAD, so I'm going to put this out there again.

Never under any circumstances do I want to be able to drag and drop a surface with my mouse. Ever. But it is easy to accidentally do with the "Dropgeom" feature. Is there still no way to disable this functionality? I don't want to turn off pickfirst. I can't put my surface on a locked layer because it is what I'm working on.

The one comfort I do have is you can go into the surface definition and delete the move operation when it does happen. But still....

I'll second this motion.
I tried to 'UNDEFINE' DROPGEOM, but it doesn't change anything.
