I am trying to export my Civil 3d 2010 DWG and it is giving me a "could not process Xrefs!" error and won't export. I don't was going through my xrefs and one was not an overlay it was an attachment, I could only reload or unload, can't detach. I am assuming this might be the xref the file can't handle, I attached a screen shot of the xrefs.
Look at the bottom of the dialog. It is telling you that is a nested xref so you cannot detach it. Go to the drawing it is attached in to detach it or change it to overlay.
