Can Labels be reset more than one at a time?

I have 1100 point labels in a dragged state. I changed the scale of my
layout and now all the labels are very far from their points. I started to
reset each point label one at a time then tried the command labelreset>all
but that crashed C3D. Should I just reset each and every label one at a
time?
Another way?

i havent tried this- just an idea- how about changing the label style on the point group for a second, then changing it back?

That was my first thought too. I tried it but it didn't work.

I did notice that one could manually select more than one label at a time and still get the reset option. The trouble then was how to select 1100 labels.

New thought: Alter the point group to remove/exclude its points. Update, then put it back the way it was. I would think that would force the points to get new labels.

Select the point label, right click, select similar?

I tried the select similar. It selected more something than just the labels and the reset option was grayed out. (this was in 06, not sure if 07 does this better)

It was worth a shot.

How about export the points, delete them, then re-import them?

Less than ideal, of course, but if they're already grouped, it shouldn't be
a big deal, at all.

Even when you manually select all the labels only one will reset using the
label reset command.

Robert,

You may not need the info now but, I am using C3d 2014 and am in a similar predicament . I looked for a solution as you did but there was no help..... I had a crazy idea based on earlier tests I had performed attempting to transfer points between files and it worked.

Isolate the points you want to reset, then make a block out of them. Now explode and the points are reset.

I really liked LDD.

Isolate the label layer, reset one label. Hit return and use a crossong window to select all of the others.
