Can I batch convert DWG files to DXF files?

We have to submit a set of 18 drawings to a local municipality.  They want the CAD files (in this case Civil3D 2011) in .DXF format.  Is there an easy way to convert them all at once or do I have to SAVEAS each file one at a time?

Thanks.

Could be done with a script running the DXFOUT command.

I guess you have already looked at DWG Trueview...which does not include the explode/strip AEC content option...

I will be watching for an answer here too....

Script file is a good idea.  But how do I get it to open the proper files on it's own?

Have you run scrips before?  I haven't done much, not anything really.  I just tested some out to see how it would work. You can download Script Pro for free from AutoDesk.  You create a list of drawings and give it a script, and then let it run.

I haven't run a script file in a while.  I forgot about scriptpro.  Thanks for the tip.  This will probably do it.
