I was importing points and noticed that I can do a coordinate transformation using the Import/Export Points functionality. Is this the same as just using CorpsCon to do a cooordinate transformation?
Yes. The Import/Export tool will do the coordinate transformation on the fly. But, you need to insure that the coordinate system for the drawing is set to the system you want to work in AND the coordinate system for the points to be imported is correctly identified. I've only done this when exporting Lat and Long points in and out of Civil 3D, but I have not tried to go from one state plane system to another yet.
