c3d labels in regular acad

i'm running c3d 2007 and my boss has regular acad 2007. my labels, contour, parcel, and such, scale according to my viewports so i don't have huge contour labels on my smaller scaled sheets or tiny contour labels on my overall sheets. however my boss only sees huge labels. is there a way to make his work like mine? should he be using c3d (a scary thought)?

If he installs the Civil Object Enabler, the functionality should be what
